St. Joseph Hospital in Koforidua, Ghana 01/2026
Interplast Switzerland kicked off the new year with a two-week medical mission at St. Joseph Hospital in Koforidua, Ghana, during which 29 operations and 56 consultations were carried out. Despite organisational challenges, power cuts and cultural differences – such as prior treatment by local traditional healers – many patients received lasting help. The mission was characterised by great team spirit, a growing partnership with the local hospital and deep gratitude on both sides.
